You Were Not Supposed to Go Yet
You were not supposed to go yet
Not supposed to leave
So many times still
We were supposed to sit at the table
At your place, my place, their place
And take turns making dinner
We were still supposed to talk and debate
And be quiet sometimes
Solve problems together
We were still supposed to laugh
Read and share poems
Yours and mine
We were still supposed to be together
All of us
The whole family
You were part of our family
Our dear and peculiar family
Now you are gone
You are the wind in the sky
You are the drops of the rain
A memory in our pictures
A memory in our minds
The sorrow in our hearts
You were not supposed to leave so fast
Not supposed to leave
So many times still
We were supposed to sit at the table
At your place, my place, their place
And take turns making dinner
We were still supposed to talk and debate
And be quiet sometimes
Solve problems together
We were still supposed to laugh
Read and share poems
Yours and mine
We were still supposed to be together
All of us
The whole family
You were part of our family
Our dear and peculiar family
Now you are gone
You are the wind in the sky
You are the drops of the rain
A memory in our pictures
A memory in our minds
The sorrow in our hearts
You were not supposed to leave so fast

Trust
When we trust our friends
We'll be happier in the end
Everyone has goodness inside
When I take time to hear your mind
I will understand your side
When we forgive and forget
We are no longer in debt
We can smile
And we are fine

Let Your Friend Rejoice
Look into your heart
Knowing oneself is art
Listen to your voice
Let your friend rejoice
That's what friends do
And you will be happy too
My dream is mine
I will be fine
I have the right
To fight my fight
My faith is my own
Respect my soul

Drama Queen

Once upon a time, there was a drama queen
The biggest the world had ever seen
He would be nice, he would be mean
In general, he was very keen
To put his nose where it never should've been
As if he were only thirteen
He was quite lean
Since he ate beans
And like most of us, he wore jeans
But he meant well
It was a different way to tell
I care for what happens to my friend
So in the end
Things turned out all right
There was no reason to fight
Or get uptight
There was room for laughter
And all the drama queens lived happily ever after

Today I'm on My Way
Today I'm on my way
To help my son to move
Under a new roof
And when that ends
I'll meet my friends
And go to a house by the lake
Where I will make
Some wok for us to eat - sounds neat?
My mind is blurry
I have to hurry
But don't worry
I will be back tomorrow
To ease your sorrow
And cheer your mind
If you are so kind
To be back with me - we'll see!
