Nokia Is Explaining

Nokia's fame
Turns into losing the game
Nokia is explaining
While others are reigning
Too bad for us Finns
But someone else wins

Apple Is Number One

Now it's done
Apple is number one
Microsoft follows behind
This pleases Harri's mind
He's an Apple fan
And very glad

Social Media

I have an idea
Of the social media
It's collaboration
For interactive value creation

Sharing knowledge is power
Instead of holding the tower
Involve your fans
To build your brand

WEF

The World Economic Forum tells me
Denmark is the best in ICT
And Finland is sixth in rank
Still a certain bank
Has lost its grip in data connections
And needs serious corrections

Nokia to Pay

Nokia mends its fame in fact
By paying those who were sacked
Thus the Germans are supported
This is what the news reported

Cash Dispensers

There seem to be many defenders
Of cash dispensers
They are installing more
And what for?
I don't understand the urge
For this kind or surge
I would rather reduce cash
In a flash
And use plastic
Even if it's drastic

The Most Competitive EU Economy

We are a top nation
With a highly educated and skilled population
Finland happens to be
The most competitive EU economy
That's what a recent study shows
Thanks to our economic and productivity growth
And some other indicators
Used by the calculators

TeliaSonera Shocks

TeliaSonera shocks:
To reduce costs
It will cut a thousand jobs
In Finland alone
Although its turnover has grown

Mania in Romania

There is joy in Romania
Especially in Transsilvania
They have mania
You see, honey
Soon they have more money

In February Nokia opens the factory
This begins a success story
Phone production provides an avenue
To increasing tax revenue

Nokia enhances Romania's reputation
Improving job creation
And more companies arrive
The economy is alive

No lifetime jobs?

The question pops:
No lifetime jobs?
Uncertainty is here to stay
What can we say?
The market is open and free
How and what should we be?
Tell me
How can we live and strive
To be happy and thrive?

Consumers Choose Their Phone

Consumers may choose their phone brand
Nokia may choose its own land
As long as consumers buy cheaper and cheaper
Without hesitation
Companies go deeper and deeper
Into globalisation

Educated Immigrants

Baby boomers will soon retire
Who can we hire?
We should extend our hands
To educated immigrants

We can work side by side
Together we can reside
That's what we have in sight
It will be alright

Harry Potter Book Paper

J. K. Rowling seems quite smart
Or is it in her heart
To forbid the printing of her publication
On paper without FSC certification?

How will the Finnish Harry Potter fan
Like this kind of ban?
Is it good for the forests and trees
As well as the writer's fees?

Blue1

The pilots of Blue1
Are having fun
They won
When the deal was done

Car Evolution

Does the car evolution
Mean less pollution?
Would it be a smart resolution
To put air into the tank?
Is it more money in the bank?
Would it take less energy?
Will there ever be
Clean air for us to breathe?

Cash Is Costly

Cash is costly
Why use it fondly?
Don't be rash
When you withdraw cash

The Bank of Finland says it's wise and possible
To make cash withdrawals chargeable
With a debit card you could be paying less
While cash and credit wouldn't be so painless

I pay with a debit card
Whether the amount is small or large
Who can finally afford
All the money handling and transport?

In the end, the consumer pays
But it's better, some people say
They say at least
They don't need to worship the beast

Some people are afraid of control
The system would always know
Wherever we go
Do you think the microchip
Means someone is tightening their grip?

Icebreaking News

Icebreaking news:
The North-East Passage could be used
For commercial traffic
Does it sound fantastic?

This news was released
By the center of the world's ice expertise
Here in Finland of course
Where we have the knowledge resource

Growth Companies

Technologies, designers, engineers
That's where the jury turned their ears
When a newspaper organized a contest
Putting growth companies to the test

Who will see the growth potential
In something totally essential
Giving growth company credentials
To services offering internal healing
Needed to make the external cure appealing?
