Winter Solstice

The Tropic of Capricorn has the sun
It sounds like a lot of fun
Here the sun is keeping its profile low
And hiding below
But the inclination of the globe is turning
After six months the sun will be burning
Right above the Tropic of Cancer
Summer is the answer

International Women's Day

Machismo is blooming
In the flowers assuming
That men are the ones ruling
And women are neat
When they're pretty and sweet

What a Shock

What a shock
To the summertime clock
It was three at four
That's the core
That's how it goes
Night time grows
The bird flies away
But I must stay
To see the winter and ice
Not so nice

Improving the position
Of girls and women in society

Enjoy Your First of May

Two glasses of red wine last night
Now I feel healthy and bright
Starting to ride my fitness bike
I would like to say
Enjoy your First of May
The sun is still up there
Behind the clouds somewhere

April Fool's Day

Try a hoax
A funny joke
And be credible
To fool the gullible

That's how April should start
But be smart
And don't be fooled yourself
Fool someone else instead

Don't believe everything in the paper
Doubting weird stories is safer
Because today
It's April Fool's Day

Fall Equinox

Twelve hours of daylight
Twelve hours of night
The fall says "cheers"
The fall equinox appears

Today the equator is the one
That lies directly under the sun
The sun moves south its zenith
Do you get it?

In the southern hemisphere
Now the spring appears
Not a paradox
It's spring equinox
