Christmas Party 2009

At the Finlandia hall
They played with fire balls
Then we streamed inside the walls
To the tables set for us all

Our outfits with animal figures
Had pretty shapes and pictures
A lot was on our minds
Talks of many kinds

Vappu Pimiä in her fair skin
Was a beautiful Finn
She spoke to us on stage
With a happy face

She was nice to see and hear
I was quite near
After a moment of fun
She called the president up front

Ritva with her kitty bag
Tried to make us sad
Then she praised our work
Without a perk

She told us to study quality
And respond with purity
The kitty on her shoulder was funny
And Vappu wanted a bunny

What a blast
We got food so fast
Just a short line
And the dinner was divine

So tender was the lamb
And good was the ham
Such heavenly food
Put us into a good mood

Pretty female cabaret dancers
Were the answers
To our artistic needs
If you know what I mean

What can I say?
The audience was mostly female
Maybe a group of dancing boys
Would have been a better choice

The music was loud
And we had to shout
It was nice to dance
Even without a romance
